Welcome to the LSU System Council of Staff Advisors’ web page. This representative body was officially established in May 2006 when System President William Jenkins signed Permanent Memorandum 37 (PM-37). Members of the Council represent staff employees at all eleven institutions within the LSU System, in much the same way as its sister organization, the LSU System Council of Faculty Advisors, represents faculty employees at LSU institutions. Each institution has its own method of selecting its Council representative and alternate.
We have attempted through this site to provide staff at LSU institutions with a way to feel connected with other employees throughout the System and to have your voice heard regarding issues of importance to you. We hope this information is helpful to you, and we welcome your suggestions for improving the site.
We invite you to be an active participant in the Council by contacting the representative on your campus with suggestions for projects and issues to address, by working with your own institution’s representative body, and by potentially serving on the Council.
