Institutional Research

The Office of Institutional Research (IR) provides in-depth information about Louisiana State University System students and faculty, and provides analytic support and expertise for all units of the President's Office to aid in policy development, evaluation, and management.  IR play a major role in developing and maintaining analytic models for budget, student enrollment, and faculty salaries; coordinating peer institution analysis; preparing information for the Board, local and national reporting and communicating quantitative information through its dashboard and other reports.  IR plays a key role in communicating complex quantitative information to a broad audience.

Vision: 

The vision of this office is to provide timely and accurate data and data analysis pertinent to the decision making process of system leadership that ultimately results in a successful LSU System.
